Almost anyone can register as a tutor. We aim to keep our platform open to everyone who meets the requirements and complies with Malaysian laws. You are welcome to teach here.

We receive over a hundred new tutor jobs every month, and we publish all of them here. You can apply directly from there.

We send out jobs via WhatsApp to suitable tutors who have registered with us. If you receive an invitation from us, you may apply directly through the provided link.

Parents or students also use our extensive search filters to find tutors with impressive profiles. If parents are interested in you and shortlist you, we will contact you directly for confirmation.

After you have applied for a job, simply wait for up to 72 hours. Usually, if a parent is considering you, we’ll get in touch with you within 2 to 72 hours. Meanwhile, it is advisable to continue applying for other tutor jobs that have different timeslots.

When you are shortlisted for a tutor job, our friendly coordinator will notify you via WhatsApp so you can communicate with the parent.

If the student or parents wish to engage you as their tutor, our coordinator will let you know and will help both parties arrange the first lesson.

Prepare your teaching plan and be ready to conduct the first class session.

You are allowed to conduct your lessons in your preferred way, in accordance with the student’s needs. After each teaching session, you need to submit a record for that session. The details to be filled in include only the date, time, and lesson (activity, subject, or topic covered). This record will be sent to the parents or students as a reference and proof that the session took place. You can create it from the class list menu.

For your first lesson with the client, you are required to bring the original documents or copies listed in your profile, in case the client requests to view them. This requirement applies only to the first session.

You are responsible for preparing your own teaching materials. Any notes, reference books, or workbooks belonging to the student that you suggest must be discussed with the parent/student first. They will decide whether to buy or photocopy the materials themselves or ask for your help, and all costs will be borne by them.

Unless otherwise stated, you are expected to commit to at least 4 weeks of tuition. If you back out of an assignment without a valid reason (e.g., illness) before completing this period, you will not be entitled to receive any tuition fees.

For short-term assignments, you are expected to be committed for the agreed-upon period (usually until the student’s exams) and to fulfill the minimum number of lessons specified.

We expect our tutors to uphold integrity and responsibility by being committed to guiding students through their exams and not backing out without a valid reason. Tutors who show irresponsible or unethical behavior may be blacklisted without warning. Each case will be reviewed individually, and appropriate action will be taken.

If the parents are not interested in you after the first session, you will not be considered suitable for the assignment and will not receive any fee from us. As a general guideline, parents usually decide whether you are suitable within the first 30 minutes of the session. However, you can still apply for other assignments.

You will not need to collect commission fees on our behalf, as we will bill the client directly. Our company transfers payments from our account to your account. You will receive your commission on a monthly basis (usually at the end of each month), starting from the date of your first lesson. Parents will pay us directly.

The company fee is included as a portion of the lesson fees. Therefore, you do not need to make any payments to nakTuition for your tuition assignments. The commission is paid by the client (parent or student) directly to the company.

Inform our company immediately if there are additions or reductions in class hours. Payments will be adjusted based on the changes.

Tutors are encouraged to upload certificates, supporting documents, or testimonials in your account section after registering. Please watermark any sensitive information for security. Do not include private information such as your phone number or email, as documents containing such information will not be approved. Uploading proper documents will also help you receive more tutor job opportunities.
